Few days till mensa TANK~

As a member of mensa, one must not miss the famous TANK, a gathering where mensans will debate, argue, talk crap, and hopefully not fight on current issue. It will be held in north, 7th floor, City Hall, Central this time round, the place where I've taken the intimidating mensa entrance test. The topics this time round will be "語言統一的可能性和方向", which is the possibility and direction of uniting language into one, and "我看見淫照看見我" ... you know, Edison Chen scandal stuff... Well, maybe I'll paste what the advertisment E-mail says here:

就一個題目，12個 Mensans 總有13個不同的意見，看看就以下兩個題目，今次討論會又
會擦出甚麼樣的火花!

第一節 - 16:30 - 18:00 - "語言統一的可能性和方向"

世上大部份小朋友，都花費大量的精神和時間去學習外語。就算天份再高，要學會一種外
語，也最少用一年半載，與其浪費大量時間去學外語，為何不統一世上的語文，令人人都
只需學要母語﹖

現代有三種語文可能成為世界統一語文，分別是最多人使用，屬於象形文字的中文； 及
第二多人用，屬於拼音文字的英文；第三建立一套適合新世紀的語文系統。

我們應否消滅少數文化？
語言統一會否成功？
如何統一語言？


第二節 - 18:00 - 19:30 - "我看見淫照看見我"

都是蘋果惹的禍!
如果事件中照片主角全是男生，拍攝者是女生，你看法如何？
如果你要與情人為感情留個記錄的話，你會選擇拍一輯照，還是寫一首詩，種一棵樹呢？
如果你要為情人拍一輯裸照，你會採用甚麼角度拍攝呢？
照片該由男方還是女方保存，或雙方各存一份呢？
你會跟朋友分享這些照片嗎？
你會用電腦技術修改這些照片嗎？
你會替照片配上音樂嗎？

By the way, this reminds me ... There's some interesting video on david's blog and it's kinda related to this time's TANK.


Anyway, I don't quite agree to what they say on the video. Firstly, that's all just prediction and secondly, what is happening is that the average IQ of mankind is shifting upwards as time goes by. Another thing to note is that the average IQ of east asia is the highest in the world (Korea, Japan, China, Singapore) so I think I don't have to worry about it =P. Oh and don't you want the technology to advance and develope? Or do you prefer to live in the ancient times? Where walking to school takes half a day? Come on man, this world is built with human's wit and intelligence, and that won't destroy it.
