Spam mails

Ever left your free web based e-mail account (such as gmail, yahoo and hotmail) alone for a few days and finding numerous of unread e-mails after logging on, only to find that most of them are junk e-mails? That's just what happened here. After leaving my hotmail account alone for like 3 days, I have somewhat 10 to 20 unread messages in my junk mail folder (with 0 in the rest, including inbox). It's not that I want to say that I loathe spam mails or phising mails to such magnitudes, but having half of such mails being Viagra offers or some unknown bot saying that they are some girl (or guy or gay or bisexual or transsexual or whatsoever....) and they want to meet and they want to have [[censored]] ... ... ... whatever! Oh well, though the other half are randoms from social websites such as facebook and friendster, that doesn't dismiss the very FACT that I loathe spam mails!

Well, spam mails are still bearable to some very minute extend (think nanometer wise), though no matter how annoying, there are still room for tolerance as they always goes to the junk mail folder, even if it is one habit of mine to check the junk mail folder every now and then (with a frequency of a day or less). There are some mails that's worst, as they, go into your inbox instead of junk mail folder, and the reason being that the reply address, or the address which the mail came from, is your own email address ... I have no idea how on earth they did that, but its hell annoying. Simple as that.

The worst of all is, of course, those msn spams. Every now and then there will be one bot pretending to be a guy or a girl, trying to ask for [[censored]] ... and they will try to get you to click on a link, of which it will lead to some very cheapskate looking website asking for your credit card. Sounds like normal phishing scam? Well, the thing is that, there are NUMEROUS msn messages related to these crap, and the worst is that some of them comes in a frequency of 5 minute (I want to know who made such a bot which allows so many msn accounts to be created...), and all of them are of different hotmail addresses ... so theres no point in blocking cause the possibility of hearing the same old crap from the same bot is near 0. The only way to deal with this is to block all messages from people who are not on your list (though this might be risky...). Well, can't help it, can we?

Oh well, whatever it is, one thing is certain... spamming stinks.
