Pebble soldering

Went back to school for some workshop yesterday. Hmmmmm, been hell long since I last set foot on the school grounds (though I never wish to again =.=). Anyway, they taught us how to make some kinda mp3 player. Now, that sounds simple enough right (just look at the diagram and solder and you're done). However, here's the deal. Can you shape the molten solder into pebble like balls? I can =D

Left: My board Right: Demonstration board
Pebbles~ (though they looked kinda different in sizes...)
Nice pebbles?
Main board's pebbles
Reminds me of chocolates and sweets
oo oo oo oo
The one in the center got distorted by a senior...

Anyway, I would say that it's pretty easy to solder little pebbles. All the seniors didn't believe that such a soldering method will work (though nice looking), but it did~ And in honour of the pebbles, a name was given to this method of soldering - "球型焊接法". It works just like the demonstration board. Oh well, there was one or two detached point in the main board and things like that happened, but hey, at least its hyper lot better looking than the pre-made one and it feels a lot smoother. =P Guess I've learnt something useful after all ... wait, this wasn't taught by anyone... this was something which I came up with myself~ Now I finally can say that I've acquired some skills from the screwed up of a department at last~
Oh and if anyone one of you want these kind of joints to be soldered or simply want to learn how to solder these kind of joints, I'm your man =D

Gov uni > Private uni (sg)

The picture above is a page taken from an English specimen paper from UniSIM. Here is some of the abstract which I find quite interesting and rather contradicting.

They say obesity is linked to diabetes, but is there concrete proof of that? How
many of our fat children have diabetes? (F. 26, housewife)
Well, first of all, this piece of reading is about some Trim and Fit programme (TAF) which is conducted in school. I assume that the youngest possible age is 6 or 7, the age of primary school entry (if there's TAF programme in PAP kindergartens, you can go whoop their asses, I'll provide the gun fire). Anyway, please take a look at the age of the interviewee. Hmm, a 26 years old housewife huh? So it means that she got married before and gave birth at the age of 19 (considering that her kid just got into primary 1) ? Well, that's still physically possible. But wait, how about this?
Being fat is an epidemic? Well, not in my opinion. I think if you are fat, but
healthy, then it's OK. (F, 23, waitress)
Erm, if her kid is 7 (primary 1), then it would be 16 when she first gave birth ... hmm, oh well, still at a legal age, barely though. Anyone can also argue that she never mentioned anything about having her own kid or whatsoever, so she might not even be a parent. Alright, fine, even though this interview was put under the column labelled as "parents", that can still be true. But what about this?
In our Aisan culture, being fat is a sign of prosperity. Why can they leave the
fat kids alone? They should do something about those undernourished students
instead of making my son feel like a criminal just because he's fat. (F, 21,
Private tutor)
Apart from the fact that this passage is quite erroneous considering that it came out from a private tutor's mouth (I know it's fake but, its their responsibility to make it look real, right?), the age really look ugly here. 21 years old. Hmmm, if we minus 21 with 7, what will we get? ahhh, yes, here we go. 14! So is UniSIM trying to promote young motherhood or premature motherhood or what?! Come on man, use some brains when you try to fake a source or something =.="... And don't bloody hell come and tell me that the son she got was adopted. I will kill you if that's the last thing I'll do :@
